After many successful years selling at events and galleries, I now sell only from my studio here in Scotland - online from the website and Facebook page, plus Open Studio weekends (private view appointments only).
Everything is one-of-a-kind, on highest-grade canvas, professionally finished - framed or mounted/wrapped; posted worldwide.

All about me:-
I have been a professional artist for many years, studying in Hampshire and in Glasgow, originally working as a textile designer.
Exhibiting across the UK, including several sold-out events, I have many collectors including celebrities and politicians; with customers in the USA, across Europe, Canada, Australia, Ireland, etc.

Design and artwork commissioned by - among many others - The National Trust for Scotland,
Glasgow Galleries and Museums dept., Scottish Tourist Board, the Edinburgh Festival Company; for castles,
hotels, company offices, presentations, and private collectors worldwide.
Selected as one of 12 artists for the Scottish Artists Gallery at the John Lewis store in Glasgow.
Gallery exhibitions: Glasgow, Helensburgh, Ayrshire, Stirling, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Bristol, etc.,
a series of very successful solo shows at Gleneagles.
Regular exhibitor/demonstrator at contemporary art fairs,
international horse trials, RHS national flower shows, major annual events at Chatsworth House,
Scone Palace, Glamis Castle, the Royal Highland Show, Country Living shows, design and interiors events, etc.
Featured in various magazines and newspapers, including commissioned artwork,
several times described as 'one of the modern Scottish colourists.'

I've also organised successful art and design events, designed and managed pop-up galleries, and as a small business owner took part as a delegate and invited speaker in the EU Conference of Entrepreneurs/SME's in Brussels, as part of the group from Strathclyde University.

Paintings are in acrylics and mixed media on canvas, occasionally heavyweight watercolour paper; and involve many layers and fine glazes of colour, including inks, oil pastel, plus my signature use of gold leaf, copper and various texture media. Inspired by the glorious scenery and seas around the West coast of Scotland here, my work is infused with light and glowing colours.

I never allow prints or licencing for images of my work, despite frequent requests from printers and publishers. My paintings have depth, light and shade, subtle shifts of colour, which would never show in a printed copy.
