Welcome to my website of original Scottish contemporary fine art.
The pages include some of the latest work available, archived galleries, details of where to find me round the country, how to buy, etc.
Paintings are full of the ever-changing light and colour of the West coast of Scotland. I work in soft pastels for many of the seascapes, inspired by the water, islands, lochs and sunsets across Scotland. I use acrylics and mixed media for the popular series of gloriously colourful multi-layered paintings of Scottish fields, crofts and beaches, horses, and views and flowers of Tuscany. Oils are also used for large paintings on canvas. Collages and abstracts are in mixed media including gold leaf, textured paint, collaged papers and silk threads, and iridescent colours, and I continually develop and work on new ideas and techniques.
My design and art work has been commissioned and purchased for The National Trust for Scotland, Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, The Edinburgh Festival Company, Scottish Tourist Board, by celebrities, politicians, for castles, galleries and museums, hotels, company offices and private collectors world-wide, and has featured in The Herald, Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, Edinburgh Life, and various lifestyle, homes and interiors magazines.
Selected for the Scottish Artists gallery, John Lewis, Glasgow.
I am always happy to take commissions - from small views of islands or making a painting from a photograph, to large contemporary canvases - for your home, office, for one-of-a-kind special presents, and can mail framed or unframed.
I also have several exhibitions where part of all proceeds is going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer - I am registered as a "Challenger" fund-raiser. Details of these special events are on the exhibitions page - including Gleneagles Hotel and House for an Art Lover in Glasgow.
Prices and order details on the how-to-purchase page.
All paintings are one-off unique originals, I don't produce or give permission for any form of prints or cards - no 'limited editions' (just prints with a number on!), artist proofs, art cards, giclées, etc.
My style and ranges of paintings are entirely my own and have been worked on for many years, and I constantly experiment and 'play' with paints.
(I don't copy any other artist, although sadly other artists - also allowed by galleries - copy my work, so always check the signature and signed labels!)
I don't get time to put up photos of everything, there are always more paintings in stock, if you want to see more do please email and photos of latest work can be sent directly to you.
If you enjoy looking at my paintings, you can go to my page on facebook at Pamela Randal Fine Art, click 'like' on there and share, to get all the up-to-date news and new paintings - you can also add a message to my guest book, or just email me at email@example.com
ALL IMAGES REMAIN COPYRIGHT OF THE ARTIST, EVEN AFTER PURCHASE
NO permission will be granted at any time for either prints or any other form of reproductions, and legal action will be taken against unauthorised prints or copies in any media, including painted copies.
Just ask if you would like to see more of any from the ranges shown- there are always more available than illustrated here
